First seen · 7/22/2026, 06:35 AMLatest activity · 7/22/2026, 06:35 AM

Wistron opened D1, its first U.S. manufacturing facility, in Fort Worth, Texas. The 324,000-square-foot greenfield plant currently operates two manufacturing cells: one producing NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and another scheduled to produce the Vera Rubin Superchip. NVIDIA says D1 is scaling up during 2026 to manufacture tens of thousands of advanced technology boards per month. The opening ceremony included NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Wistron Chairman Simon Lin, Taiwan government officials and Fort Worth leaders. The announcement frames the facility as part of a broader U.S. push to expand domestic AI infrastructure manufacturing.
