Cloudflare announced that wrangler dev and vite dev now automatically capture OpenTelemetry traces for local Worker invocations. When the tooling detects a supported coding-agent session, it directs the agent to the local Local Explorer API, which can query those traces and other observability data. Cloudflare says developers do not need to install an SDK, enable tracing, configure the agent, or mention observability in the prompt. The API exposes an OpenAPI schema so agents can discover available endpoints at runtime.
