According to Ars Technica’s report summary, the US has lifted export and in-country transfer licensing requirements for Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5, roughly three weeks after the Trump administration flagged the models as national security risks. Anthropic says Fable 5 is now available globally, while US organizations regained access to Mythos 5 on June 26. The company is also working with the government to expand Mythos access through its Glasswing program, which provides defensive cybersecurity researchers at trusted organizations with model access.
