AnyBokeh proposes single-image bokeh editing between arbitrary source and target focus and aperture settings without first reconstructing an all-in-focus image. It estimates a signed circle-of-confusion map and disparity, models their linear relationship as a source-specific optical fingerprint, and transfers that fingerprint to the requested camera setting. A generative editor conditioned on source and target blur maps performs spatially varying deblurring, blur preservation, and defocus rendering. The authors also report a synthetic training dataset containing accurate depth, focus distance, and full EXIF metadata. Code and data are announced for release, but the supplied record does not yet provide independently checkable quantitative results.
