ModPack presents a modular teleoperation system for bimanual mobile manipulation. Its self-contained wearable backpack combines onboard computation, power, communication, and data storage, while plug-and-play modules provide joint-level teleoperation, haptic feedback, mobile manipulation, and active perception. The authors report experiments on two distinct robot platforms and real-world mobile manipulation tasks, and state that the complete hardware design and software stack are being open-sourced. The main contribution is a reusable interface intended to reduce dependence on robot-specific teleoperation implementations and support future data collection and policy-learning research.
