Building Trust in Autonomous Commerce: A Verifiable Global Event Timeline and AI-Ready Fraud Intelligence Layer

This paper proposes a verifiable global event timeline for agentic commerce, addressing auditability and temporal-ordering gaps in protocols such as AP2 and ACP. Its design combines canonical event schemas, deterministic batching, append-only Merkle commitments, and blockchain anchoring. It also introduces signed fraud markers that bind risk labels to anchored evidence, plus dataset lineage for reproducible AI training pipelines. In a prototype, Merkle construction processed 50,000 events in 47 milliseconds, end-to-end verification took under 0.013 milliseconds, proof sizes grew from 320 to 512 bytes, and Merkle verification was reported as 14.4 times faster than linear scanning at 50,000 events.
