Disney and TikTok announced a global short-form content-sharing agreement, beginning with a pilot in the United States and potentially expanding to other markets. Eligible TikTok creators will be able to use material from hundreds of Disney films and television shows, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and FX titles. Their work will also appear on Verts, Disney’s vertical-video experience associated with Disney+ and ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. The companies will jointly run a Disney Creator Ambassador Program offering incentives, events and career support. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
