ReDesign presents an agentic framework for reconstructing editable design structures from raster images. It grows a layer hierarchy by selecting and composing specialized tools for typography, vector geometry, colors, grouping, and layer ordering. A graceful verification mechanism provides local accept, prune, or retry feedback during each expansion, reducing error accumulation without requiring large-scale reruns. The authors introduce the Figma Edit Replay Benchmark, containing 909 raw Figma files and 14,796 controlled edit instructions. According to the abstract, ReDesign achieves strong visual fidelity and the highest editability across layout, color, and text edits, outperforming layered decomposition baselines and serial tool-use pipelines.
