Cloudflare introduced Cloudflare Agents, a unified experience for deploying and managing hosted agent sessions on its platform. The initial release focuses on agent tracing, exposing model calls, tool executions, token usage, and associated costs. Cloudflare says the tracing system supports OpenTelemetry-compatible agent harnesses, including Think, Flue, and AI SDK, with additional integrations planned. The product builds on Cloudflare’s existing developer-platform components for model access, durable runtimes, orchestration, sandboxed execution, and persistent storage. The announcement positions observability as the first step toward broader agent management.
