NVIDIA says South Korean President Jae Myung Lee, business leaders and researchers are using this week’s AI Summit in San Francisco to discuss the country’s AI strategy. NVIDIA and KAIST announced a joint AI research lab at KAIST’s Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI in Seoul, focused on agentic AI. The collaboration is expected to combine NVIDIA’s full-stack AI expertise, Nemotron open models and computing from NVIDIA AI Cloud partners with KAIST’s research capabilities. NVIDIA describes it as the first joint AI lab between a Korean university and a global technology company.
