Microsoft Discloses OpenAI Generates Most of Its AI Business Revenue

Microsoft disclosed that revenue from OpenAI reached $24.1 billion in the fiscal year ended June 2026. Bloomberg’s estimate, based on Microsoft’s previously stated 123% annualized growth rate, puts Microsoft’s AI business revenue at roughly $34 billion for the same period, implying that OpenAI may account for more than half and potentially close to 70%.
