CodeNib is a repository-context serving system for coding agents. For each repository commit, it builds lexical, dense, and structural views, maps results to repository-relative source ranges, preserves selected views across edits, and exposes ranked search, symbol navigation, and bounded context through one runtime. Across 100 snapshots, graph and vector updates were 8.7x and 25.4x faster at the median when outputs matched an independent rebuild. On a static-navigation subset, median live/static latency was 4.7x. Across five models, selected context policies used 50–87% fewer trajectory tokens than paired grep/read baselines while preserving localization.
