Original title:百度入局 AI 办公:dodo 并入百度搭子,全面整合办公 Agent 业务
On the morning of August 6, Sina Technology learned that Baidu has begun integrating its internal office agent dodo with the Baidu Dazi team. All dodo-related R&D personnel and resources will be merged into Baidu Dazi, bringing the company’s internal and external office agent products into full alignment. This means Baidu’s office Agent business will shift from advancing along multiple lines to a concentrated effort, as the company integrates its strongest resources to compete comprehensively in the AI office sector. It is understood that dodo is an office agent used internally at Baidu. Employees can assign tasks through communication software such as Ruliu, the Web interface, or the client, asking dodo to organize meetings, process documents, and search emails. It can also access knowledge bases and R&D platforms to complete tasks such as code submission and requirements management.
Baidu Dazi was launched in March this year as a professional office agent platform for individuals and enterprises. Users only need to describe their work objectives, and Baidu Dazi can handle task breakdown, information retrieval, document processing, web operations, and result delivery, carrying out work continuously across files and applications. The capabilities of products including Baidu Search, Baidu Netdisk, Baidu Maps, Miaoda, and Famou have been integrated through Skills, further covering research and analysis, content production, PPT generation, and enterprise collaboration.
In July this year, Baidu Dazi Enterprise Edition was officially released. It supports the sharing of Skills, project context, and work results across enterprises, while providing unified management of knowledge assets, business processes, and execution. It has already been adopted by enterprise customers in multiple industries. Since its launch, Baidu Dazi’s average daily number of questions has increased twentyfold, and it has successively ranked first in the PinchBench and DeepResearchBench agent evaluations.
Following the merger, Baidu Dazi will become a unified office Agent product serving Baidu’s internal office operations, individual productivity, and enterprise collaboration. dodo’s internal practices in areas such as meetings, documents, knowledge bases, R&D management, and the reuse of team Skills will gradually be incorporated into Baidu Dazi Enterprise Edition, further strengthening its capabilities in organizational knowledge retention, workflow execution, and team collaboration.
